Mesotherapy

Pioneered by the French physician Dr. Michel Pistor in 1952, Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure that is widely used in Europe and elsewhere to treat various injuries and medical conditions. This medical specialty targets problem areas with microinjections of conventional or homeopathic medicines, vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Tiny “medicinal bullets” are delivered directly into the mesoderm (middle layer of skin) that are highly specific to the condition being treated. Among its many applications, Mesotherapy can be used for the following:

  • Mesotherapy to eliminate cellulite
  • Mesotherapy to promote weight loss
  • Mesotherapy to provide anti-aging benefits
  • Mesotherapy to eliminate localized fat deposits

Mesotherapy ( Mesotherapie) was recognized by the French National Academy of Medicine in 1986 as an integral part of traditional medicine. Each day, thousands of doctors worldwide use Mesotherapy to help tens of thousands of patients.

Treatment

The mesotherapy is introduced into the skin either by small micro injections or by transdermal mesotherapy in patients who have a fear of needles (see Transdermal Mesotherapy) The needles used in Mesotherapy are very short and thin, so the doctor can deliver the medications to the right depth.

Different mesotherapy ingredients are used for different indications. In addition, the long term results of Mesotherapy treatments are very dependent on what active ingredients are present in the Mesotherapy solution and how many treatments are prescribed.

At Skin Renewal for anti ageing benefits we use a combination of award winning growth factors , peptides, amino acids, vitamins, nucleic acids, co factors and hyaluronic acid.( see above)

These combinations present in the cocktail stimulate the production of collagen so that the epidermis is strengthened thereby improving skin tone and texture . The hyaluronic acid present in the cocktail attracts water and rehydrates the skin resulting in an improved appearance. For pigmentation, patented pigmentation inhibiting peptides are used to improve hormonal pigmentation.

Why do I need it?

The outcome of any Mesotherapy procedure is directly dependent on what active ingredients are used and what problems it addresses:

Skin brightening serum is used, as it addresses pigmentation on multiple fronts.
